for the past week i have been wanting a place to store my notes publicly. it's ridiculous how much we are expected to remember - i can't anymore. cosme.party will store information/documentation/processes/thoughts that i will have to remember 4 months from when i originally did something. Anyway, here is how you build this site:

infrastructure mostly runs on docker-compose on an ubuntu system (hopefully NixOS later). there is a private (for now) github repo that hosts all the configuration, docker files, etc... you have to edit the repo in your laptop, then push to make changes to the server.

for any doubts open the readme. this site should auto-backup once a month, but considering the things i am not willing to share publicly - it might have to change to once a day.

this system is running on ionos which surprisingly gave me a great deal. we did some shopping and found out that all the trusty VPC providers are hella expensive now. systems themselves have racked up in price.
